This “Short & Tall Dublin With Plateau” is a one-of-a-kind pipe by our in-house pipe maker Todd Brugman. Brugman is know for his unique style that is influenced by neo-classical Italian shaping cues and Danish Minimalism with perfect straight grain orientation, highly contemporart yet harkens a classic and timeless aesthetic.
With this particular pipe Brugman chose various various nuanced Danish shaping cues, yet a classic English shape cart pipe the exhibits a unique spin on neo-classical Italian shaping cues, hence becoming a new style, a melting pot, an Americana style.
This pipe has an elegant silhouette despite its short length, and is perfectly balanced, both visually and physically. This pipes composition is minimalistic yet quite dynamic and carries a level of sophistication.
The black plateau (live edge) rim contrasts brilliantly with the warm light stain, and balances with the jet black stem and the perfectly organic and staccato straight grain.
Straight grain surrounds the bowl, 360 degrees. The grain is brought out by a nice warm brown stain.
It has a large bowl, yet the the stout length makes this an easy pipe to smoke; a great clencher for a long smoke.
Perfectly drilled and engineered, this pipe is as much a precision instrument as it is a work of art.
