Based on a design that appeared in Peterson’s catalogs as early as 1906, Peterson’s 2023 Pipe of the Year is defined by its softly rounded, egg-like bowl and deep, curling “swan neck” bend, elevated by Peterson’s signature silverwork and modern finishing techniques. The year 2023 also marks the 125th anniversary of Charles Peterson’s patented “p-lip” stem design, so it’s no surprise they chose this comfortable fitting for this year’s signature pipe. Each Pipe of the Year comes with a knit pouch of Irish will with a leather emblem.
This pipe in their natural finish is the pinnacles of this year’s offerings. The pale finish brings out some right cross grain with birsdeye on the sides. Measuring 5 3/4″ long with a 2″ bowl
