Description
Stained a deep walnut, this pipe is another hard-to-classify shape, combining elements of the bulldog, author, and panel. From the bulldog: the bead line around a central swelling; from the author: an apple-like bowl with a round shank and a gentle bend; from the panel: subtle flattening around the bottom, bringing geometric lines which are almost more felt than seen. The medium sized bowl feels compact and solid, and it’s fitted to a comfortable, saddle bit. 5 1/4″ long with a 1 7/8″ bowl.
