This is a pipe from an estate collection we recently received. All of the pipes in this collection were kept in pristine condition; we cleaned up and restored what was needed, which was minimal due to the excellent care taken by the previous/original owner. We only had to do some light buffing and polishing.
Dunhill is arguably the epitome of a high end premium pipe brand. They created and perfected the western pipe shape chart, names, and shape standards, influencing all pipe genre to come: Danish Freehand, Danish Minimalism, Italian Neo-Classical, Contemporary Japanese etc. They also set the bar for what a perfect quality pipe is, in regards to how it is engineered, how it performs, and its aesthetics. A truly pioneering pipe company that is still around and still one of the greatest brands.
This pipe is a Dunhill Shell Group 4 Billiard. A truly classic, timeless, and elegant specimen of a pipe; clearly a pipe that would make a great addition to anyone’s collection.
