Flake

FLAKE TOBACCO: Flakes are blends of predominantly or entirely matured Virginia tobaccos that have been pressed and cured into cakes and then sliced. This process makes for a slow burning tobacco with a rich, full bodied smoke.
150th Flake | Medium in strength with a rich, subtly sweet flavor of dates and vintage port. The finest middle-belt Virginias, including some rare leaf from the 2010 crop, are pressed for up to six weeks to enhance the deep taste and change the color to a rich, dark brown. We then use a broad cut to protect the flavor and provide a slow burn.
Ampersand Flake | A semi-broken flake connecting the qualities of Bob Peretti's original artisanal Old Virginia Flake with a subtle hint of sweetness for today's pipe smoker. Medium in strength, with an excellent room note.
Boston Slices | A classic Virginia flake that yields subtle sweetness and a perfect, medium-bodied flavor.
Cambridge Flake | Here is a combination of two great English traditions. A mixture of Latakia, Turkish and mature Virginia pressed into a flake to provide a unique smoking experience. If you're an English smoker looking to branch out into flakes, this one is for you.
London Flake | One of the most popular blends in flakes is found here in this Virginia/perique flake. The orange and lemon Virginias provide a fine level of sweetness which is nicely complemented by the spicy kick of the perique.
No. 8 Slice | Initially blended and pressed for a club, No. 8 Slice is a blend of various stout Virginias and Perique flake. Spicy and complex with full flavor and a cool, even burn. |
