Description
The “Reverse Calabash” type of pipe has been gaining in popularity over the past few years. It contains a secondary air chamber where stem meets shank to circulate air and cool it down, providing the benefit of a much longer pipe in a short, chubby format. This pipe is barely over 4 1/2″, but is bound to smoke cooler than something twice that length. The dark-stained grain is excellent, and matches the olive-brown brindle stem perfectly, with an accent of black and white to join them.
Engineering and art are well met in this charming little pipe.
