This “Clark’s Favorite” is a Savinelli that pays homage to the famous American actor Clark Gable.
Clark Gable would smoke 1/2 bent billiards with an extra long stem, almost churchwarden sized. Just like Savinelli makes a “Bing’s favorite” based off the unique billiard that Bing Crosby smoked, they make a “Clark’s favorite” based off of the unique billiard Clark Gable smoked, as seen here.
Despite the long stem on this pipe, it is quite light, and it is balanced just right, therefore it isn’t nearly as unwieldy as a standard churchwarden and can be clenched easily.
It’s elegant aesthetic gives it a unique and dynamic balance. This clearly expertly designed pipe that would make a great addition to any pipe smokers collection; a great pipe that won’t break the bank.
