The ‘Tanshell’ pipe from Dunhill is a sought after variety. They possess a lot of character and after some quality smoking time, they become an item that is representative of their owner. The wood will take on a patina of different shades. The bowl of this pipe has done just that. The rim has some considerable darkening, but no char at all and the stem bears one noticeable but benign tooth mark below the button.
