Description
There’s nothing quite like the experience of smoking a Churchwarden pipe. Modeled after the clay pipes that were made as far back as the 16th century, (and popularized by Gandalf and the Hobbits of Lord of the Rings) they have an exceptionally long stem which gives the smoke plenty of time to cool for a mellow smoke. You might not walk around town with one of these clenched in your teeth, but there’s something relaxing about enjoying one by the fire with a good book.
This churchwarden has a smooth bowl finished in a walnut stain. It’s in a Dublin shape with a little bulge to the bottom. The bowl and stem are joined by a narrow nickel band.
