Description
Nick comes back to one of his perennial favorites with this offering. The “Seahorse” is a unique freehand shape of curves and planes which, when seen from the side, represents the eponymous marine animal. This one captures stunning straight grain on the sides with an amazing spread of birdseye along the top and bottom. Fitted rather appropriately with a coral blue stem and a colorful accent resembling sea gravel, it’s a pipe true to its theme. The pipe measures 5 3/4″ long with a 2″ bowl.
Where Nick has really upped his game with this offering is with the extras: a “baby seahorse” pipe measuring just 1 1/2″ long with a half inch (!) bowl. Believe it or not, the small pipe is just as smokable as the bigger one. It also comes with a color matching tamper with ends sized for both pipes. All these pieces rest neatly in a stand made of a block of briar plateau, the surface of which is stained a deep brown to resemble the sea floor.
