This tamper was made exclusively for us, LJ Peretti Co by Pewter Smith Larry Blackett, handmade in the USA.
Out of a large collection of tampers from the 17th, 18th, and 19th century he is casting them and making limited reproduction’s that are exclusively available here at LJ Peretti Co. We will be bringing in 3 new tampers into the shop every few months or so.
This tamper is of an “English Stag”, and the original that this was cast from is dated to the mid 19th Century England.

On all of these tampers, Blackett gave them a rough finish so they would accurately match the original.
