The 5 star designation is represented by the tight and flawless straight grain on this pipe that encircles the bowl and continues down the shank until it is cut of by the stem. Root Briars of the ‘DR’ designation are rare, and the 5 star designation is very rare. This pipe has been smoked maybe once or twice. The rim is perfectly clean and stem is in like new condition.
