Description
A large, freehand Dublin, measuring 6 1/8″ with a 2″ bowl. Pipe is fitted with the original Charatan Double Comfort saddle bit. There is tight straight grain around the bowl leading to a textured, rusticated rim. The bottom of the bowl has a small flat section with tight clusters of birdseye grain. Stampings and nomenclature are still visible on both stem and bowl.
This moderately smoked pipe is part of a recently acquired estate of Charatan’s Make pipes from the 60s to the 80s. It has been our pleasure to lovingly restore these rare and iconic pipes.
