Description
Baldi is regarded among many as a master of his craft and an artist in pipe making. He has a unique sense of shape and style that remains unmatched by other Italian pipe makers. This pipe is shaped much like an old Charatan acorn, but with a significant Baldi flair. There is a steady curve from the stem all the way down to the pointed heel that remains uninterrupted. This shaping characteristic gives the pipe a homogenous flow. The rim has an ever-so-slight dip towards the middle and from the top, the bowl itself is actually quite oblate. A very fine piece of work from Baldo that begs to be smoked and enjoyed. This pipe has a touch of rim darkening and various tiny scratches and dents around the bowl. The stem is in excellent condition.
